Brayley is a Cavapoo (a mix of Cavalier King Charles and Poodle). Brayley has never met a person (or dog)(or cat) she hasn’t loved. She has passed her basic obedience class, and the next step in her therapy dog journey is taking a class to help her pass her canine good citizen test.
A therapy dog is used to aid in fostering a warm atmosphere. A therapy dog is non-judgmental and offers unconditional love and support which can enhance the overall effectiveness of therapy sessions.
For virtual sessions, Brayley will say “Hi” on the camera. As Dr. Fanning moves to more in person session availability, individuals can choose if they’d like Brayley to come to their session or not. Brayley is an added bonus for those who want to meet her but is not a requirement of therapy. Brayley understands not everyone wants a dog in their therapy session!
Brayley’s name means “A Bright Spot on A Cloudy Day.”
