IN NETWORK INSURANCE

In network means that your therapist is contracted with the company and you would be responsible for only the amount contracted.  You may just have a co-pay or you may need to meet a deductible first.  You are responsible for checking your mental health benefits prior to the first sessions for specifics.

OUT OF NETWORK

If you have another insurance plan, check with your network. You may be able to use our services as an out of network provider. You would then pay for your session up front.  In many instances, we can submit the claim for you so you get your allowed reimbursement.  In other cases, I would provide you with the paperwork you submit to your insurance company. If your preferred clinician is not in network with your insurance, please discuss the possibility of out of network coverage.

You are imperfect and you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.

FLEX SPENDING/HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS

Generally,  medical flex spending accounts can be used for mental health therapy. I can provide you a receipt for reimbursement or process your flex spending credit card.

DEDUCTIBLES

Mental health expenses can be counted toward your deductible for most health
insurance plans.  I will submit billing to your insurance company to make sure your payments are counted towards your deductible.

Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is believing you are worthy of the trip.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Therapy is scheduled in advanced.  The client is paying to reserve a block of our time. A missed appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours is time I am available for you but unproductive due to the lack of adequate notice.

Appointments must be cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. Appointments not cancelled more than 24 hours in advance will be charged $75.00.  Insurance does not cover missed appointments.

If you have any questions at all about paying for therapy or assistance with your insurance, please contact us so we can help you figure it out and get started on your journey to living your best life.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
