The definition of social work is "Work carried out by trained personnel with the aim of alleviating the conditions of those in need of help or welfare." I love being in a profession where I am expected to stand up to injustice and advocate for people to live the life they choose. I love having the honor to work with so many amazing individuals as they strive toward living their best life. Happy Social Work Month!
